When running a training, you sometimes on occasion get people who think it’s a good idea to test you and mess with the order of things...
It’s not often I have confrontations.. but when I do.. I thoroughly enjoy the underestimating that other people do.
One of the things about being a practitioner and proponent of #real NLP, is that you develop this keen sense of how to handle things in a way that confounds people..
You develop this thing we refer to in my trade as an extreme flexibility, of behaviour... so that you can be whoever and whatever you wish to be in any given moment...
Combine this with a clear communicative style that allows one to communicate very clearly and precisely.. leading to emotional states in others.. that are the will of the practitioner..
Meaning they lose arguments and battles because they have lost themselves somewhere along the way..
NLP is a journey towards excellence, in whatever domain you choose.. whether that be increased competency in a profession, better personal development focus, enhanced listening skills that make you almost superhuman in your communications, etc..
Have been spending an evening writing about the subject for a magazine looking for a clear definition to something that seems so confusing to many.. even many people certified in NLP have yet to reach this whole new realm of understanding and comprehension about what is possible with this stuff..
The future holds great things for all..
I lost an attendee today.. my last words in the heated(for them) discussion were,
“If I’m not the trainer for you, then leave, start again next year with someone who can deal with someone like you.. I’m sure there’s someone...”
I’m polite..
